The following are the description of the
different market conditions: |
CTC:
Fair demand. Best teas firm. Mediums and plainer brokens barely steady to easier by Rs.1/-. Fannings lower by Rs.1/- with some withdrawals. HUL maintained. Internal and exporters were selective.

Orthodox:
Fair demand, selected Nilgiri highgrowns steady. Others easier by Rs.1. CIS selective and internal was limited.

DUST:
CTC - Good demand. High priced good liquoring teas barely steady. Goof mediums steady. Mediums and plainer sorts were firm to occasionally dearer. All sections operated.
ORTHODOX - Limited quantity sold around last levels
